He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifford Whitehead and Virginia Morgan Whitehead; his wife Sandra Morgan Whitehead; and his siblings, Roger Wade Whitehead and Gena Tipton.
He is survived by: his children, Cory Whitehead of Essie, KY., Jessica Whitehead of Winchester, KY. and Maclee Whitehead; his brothers, Roy Lee Whitehead, Muffy of Winchester, KY. and Ralph Shannon Wilder; and his siblings-in-law, Rick Tipton and Deborah Whitehead Mullins. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives & friends.
