He was predeceased by: his wife Karen Lee Mahan (Peters); his parents, Bill Mahan and Marjorie Mahan (Asserude); and his sisters, Kathy Mahan and Mary Mahan.
He is survived by: his stepchildren, Corey Paul Sandfoss and Heather Lynn Slater; his grandsons, Logan Smith, Ezra Sandfoss and Mason Adams; his great grandchild Isabella Smith; and his siblings, Mark Mahan, Philip Mahan, Stephen Mahan, Marcella Olding and Sheila Mandic.
