She was predeceased by: her parents, Conrad Kaltenbach and Kathryn Kaltenbach; her former husband Melvin Rolfes; her husband Clarence Johnson; her siblings, Donald Kaltenbach and Louise Kaegie; and her stepdaughter Kathryn Shay.
She is survived by: her stepdaughter Joni Starns (Harry) of Sydney; her stepson-in-law John Shay of Cold Spring; and her sister Jo Ann Schneider of Elsmere.
