He is survived by: his wife Lois Schmeing Houp; his children, Scott Houp Jr. (Christina), Laura Mohr (Shane), Angela Anstaett (Brent) and Jill Legg (Will); his grandchildren, Sophia, Cade, Kayleigh, Rosalie, Ivan and Penny; his siblings, Donald Houp Jr. (Phyllis), Cheryl Wilson (Daniel), Janice Seastead, Richard Houp (Susan) and Robert Houp (Elizabeth); and his brother-in-law Mike Melita. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
