She was predeceased by: her parents, Rahmatullah Toluie and Jamileh Toluie; her siblings, Keyhan, Kyoumars and Koroush Toluie; and her siblings-in-law, Gloria Assassi Fathi and Mahmood Zarei.
She is survived by: her husband Amir Houshang Hashemi Assassi; her children, Siamak Hashemi-Asasi and Sepideh Baker (Joseph); her sister-in-law Shahin Toluie; her grandchildren, Yasamin, Jacklyn Vieth, Sofia, Giulianna and Cyrus Hashemi-Asasi; and her sister Giti Ara Zarei.
