He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Hamilton and Joyce Hamilton; and his brothers, Randal Hamilton, Robert Meece and Al Meece.

He is survived by: his wife Linda Hamilton; his stepdaughter Melissa Kennedy; his siblings, David Hamilton (Sandy), Earlene Young (Ron) and Margarette West; and his mother-in-law Doris Hewling. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
