He was predeceased by: his father Robert D. Oberschmidt. He is survived by: his mother E. Jane Oberschmidt; his sons, Jonathan and Jason (Monica); and his siblings, Mary Lou Hittle, Mark, Tom, Eric and Gregory Oberschmidt. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
