James L. Iles Obituary
James L. Iles, 69, passed away on Monday, March 14 , 2022, at his home in Erlanger. He was a mechanic at Jim's Transmission in Florence. He proudly served our country in the U.S. Marines. Jim loved to fish, he loved model cars, boats, and history. Mostly he loved spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Iles (2021); brothers, Jesse and Robert Iles and sister, Viola Wagner.
Survivors include his daughters, Tracy (Rob) Hughes of Bromley, Laura Iles (Kenny Rednhour) of Williamstown, Jennifer Williams (Elisha Pretot) of Erlanger; brothers, William Iles, Jr., of California, Ralph Iles of Florida, Donald Iles of Covington; sisters, Dorothy Watkins of Independence, Laura Webster of Ludlow, Mary Iles of Cincinnati; son-in-law, James Bray of Independence; 14 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
Visitation is on Tuesday, March 22 , 2022, from 12:00 PM until the hour of Memorial Service with military honors at 2:00 PM, all in Ronald B. Jones Funeral Home, 316 Elm Street, Ludlow, KY.
