He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard Darpel and Stella Darpel; and his siblings, Bernie, Louie, Bob, Larry Darpel, Charlotte, Helen and Anna Mae.
He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Darpel of Erlanger; his daughters, Mary Elizabeth, Colleen Marie Bernard (Tim) of Louisville and Michelle Ann Vallandingham of Edgewood; his siblings, Charlie Darpel of Taylor Mill and Margie Duncan of Florence; his grandchildren, David Stoppelwerth, Christina Smith, Patrick, Anna Bernard, Garrett and William Vallandingham; and his children, God Church and Street. He is also survived by 6 great grandchildren.
