She was predeceased by: her father Nelson Sturm; her husband William J. Bornhorst; and her siblings, Robert Sturm and Ruth Hayes. She is survived by: her children, James W. Bornhorst (Tonya Schob), William H. Bornhorst and Nancy Bodurek (Felix); and her sister Martha Greiner. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
