He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Sr. Sassin and Gretchen Sassin; his former wife Beatrice Ricker Sassin; his wife Peggy Andrews Sassin; his children, Sharon Kay Sassin, Charles "Chuckie" Sassin and Donald "Donnie" Sassin; his stepson Freddy Marksberry; his grandson Ricky Ricker Sassin; his great grandchild Alyssa Ayala; and his sister Mary Jane Sassin.
He is survived by: his children, Nancy Morrison (Randy), Cynthia Denton (Albert), Rick Sassin (Kimberly) and Sandra Baggett (Jeff); his stepdaughter Diane Kmit (Larry); his daughter-in-law Suzy Sassin; his stepdaughter-in-law Lucy Marksberry; and his sister Kitty Cleves.
