He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles R. Link and Mary Alice Gausepohl Link. He is survived by: his siblings, Christine Gamble (late Ernie Gamble) of Kentucky, Sharon Kayea (Jeff) of Kentucky, Linda Meyer (Jerry) of Florida, Mark Link (Brenda) of Kentucky and Michael Link (Tina) of North Carolina. He is also survived by seven nieces and nephews; and eight great nieces and nephews.
