He was predeceased by: his parents, John Buchanan Massey (J. B.) and Blanche Massey; and his brothers, Curtis Wayne Massey and John "Buck" Massey. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Anne Massey; his son Charles Ed "Eddie" Massey (Anita Massey); his granddaughter Kayla Rae Ealy (Blake); his great grandchildren, Blakeleigh, Kaysen, Brittany Kay Massey and Breanna Shae Shepherd (Jacob); and his siblings, Carol Brown and Donnie Massey. He is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
