He was predeceased by: his parents, John Vest and Nannie Vest; and his siblings, Mabel Francis Rex, Herman Vest, Lois Ann Taylor and William Vest.
He is survived by: his significant other Kathy Vest; his children, Melissa Vest and David Vest (Amy); and his grandchildren, Gracie, Trent, Isaac Vest and Kaylee Colwell.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Elizabeth Hospice or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Butch's memory.
