He was predeceased by: his parents, James "Jim" McKnight and Betty Estep McKnight; his children, Frank, Jackie, Charles McKnight, Joyce Mullins, Judy McKnight and Sherry Caudill; his grandson Johnathan Boggs; his great grandchildren, Deven Nantz and Christopher Harris; and his siblings, James McKnight, Jr., LeRoy McKnight and Ethel Marion.
He is survived by: his wife Wanda Parsons McKnight; his sons, Phillip McKnight of Cumberland and Timmy Michael McKnight (Joyce) of Partridge; his stepson Brian Tidd (Ronda) of Louisville; his siblings, Hollie McKnight of Partridge and Hazel McKnight of Kingsport, TN; and his grandchildren, Christina Boggs, James Mullins, Misty Nantz (Jimmy), Jamie McGhee (Stacy), Wendy McKnight (Tim Boggs), Stacey McKnight, Alyssa Mills (Jacob), Barbara Caudill Harris, Carlos Caudill, Jacob Tidd, Phillip McKnight, Jr., Deborah Wyatt and Kenneth Wyatt. He is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
