He was predeceased by: his parents, Ellis O. Maggard and June Maggard; his grandparents, J. D., Vera Maggard, L. P. and Susan Maggard; his siblings, Ted Banks and Denise Bedwell (J. D.); his niece Jai Devin Bedwell; and his close friend Jamie Creech.
He is survived by: his wife Lisa Maggard; his sister Olivia Sprouse (Jim McDermott) of Georgetown; his siblings-in-law, Ronnie Strunk (Joyce), Rick Middleton (Anita), Barry Sprouse (Liz Bolling) and Kathy Wilson (Shelby); his nieces and nephews, Emily Sprouse Weatherwex (Chris), Tabitha Middleton, John Bedwell (Raeanna) and Corde Sprouse (Lisa); his mother-in-law Betty Middleton; and his caregiver Kimberly Coots.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 7:00 AM and at 7:00 PM. Visitation was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM at the Letcher Funeral Home (102 Main St, Whitesburg, KY 41858).
