John Tibbs Obituary

We are sad to announce that on September 23, 2023, at the age of 77, John Tibbs of Emmalena, Kentucky passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, James Collins-Tibbs and Sylvania Collins-Tibbs; and his sisters, Ethel Hicks and Loranne Webster. He is survived by: his wife Jewel Hicks-Tibbs; his children, John Tibbs Jr. (Renee) and Tonya Slone; his brother Archie Tibbs (Judy); his grandchildren, Jessica Tibbs, Veronica Turner (Derek), Elizabeth Baldridge (Chase), Janet Tibbs and Cheyenne Slone; his great grandchildren, Connor Baldridge, Brannon Turner, Ava Hayes and Vada Turner; and his brothers-in-law, Curlis Hicks and Robert Webster. He is also survived by Nieces, Nephews.
