He is survived by: his wife Elaine Moses (Biannchi) of Emlyn; his daughters, Mary Truax (Stephen) of Cleveland and Elizabeth Moses Lenz of Massillon, Ohio; his grandsons, Robert A. Smiddy Jr., John L. Smiddy (Becca), Michael B. Smiddy (Chrissy), Robert A. Lenz Jr. (Emily) and Joseph S. Truax; his great grandchildren, Hannah Smiddy, Grace Smiddy, Elijah Smiddy, Caroline Smiddy, Michael Smiddy Jr., Samantha Burges, James Truax and Adelaide Lenz; and his sister Dottie Ann Moses of Goshen, Indiana.
