He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Nancy Mooney (Rains) of Eminence; his children, Christopher Lee Mooney of Henry County and Melissa Mooney Lomax of Arizona; his parents, John Mooney and Marie Mooney of Georgetown, IN.; his grandsons, Brendan and Jared Lomax; his siblings, Laura Meyer and Larry Mooney of Louisville; and his nieces and nephews, Anna McCormick, Erin Korb, Emma Roesner, Matthew Mooney, Rachel Wease, Bonnie Wease, Allison Luckett and Jennifer Phillips.
Memorial contributions may be given to the UK Markey Cancer Center in Lexington, Kentucky.
