We are sad to announce that on February 3, 2022, Howard Smith of Eminence, Kentucky passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, William Taylor and Ruth Elizabeth Smith (Thomas); his close friends, Mark Carroll, Joe Lawson, Jansen Johnson and Billy Hayden; his brother George Owens; his close friend Frances Coleman Smith of Eminence; his son Howard R. Smith (Carol) of Louisville; his granddaughter Arriana Smith; his great grandchild Malachi; his sister Anna Elizabeth Lindsay (John) of Louisville; his niece Ivette Lindsay of Louisville; his great-niece Courtlynn Love (Alex); and his nephew Cedric Lindsay (Janice) of Cincinnati. He was also cherished by Nieces, Nephews and Cousins.

Memorial contributions may be given to the National Kidney Foundation at 161 St. Matthews Avenue, Suite 3; Louisville, KY 40207.
