He was predeceased by: his parents, Keightley Purvis and Icey Ann Purvis (Stivers); his daughter Tina Marie Purvis; and his siblings, Ben, John, Walter, Hubert Purvis, Mabel Purvis, Lua Purvis (Boyer), Isabelle "Dolly" Purvis (Baker) and Martha Elizabeth (Sis).
He is survived by: his wife Tina Purvis of Eminence; and his children, Vernon Purvis, Barbara Ann Purvis (Bayne), Keightley Purvis, Donnie Purvis and Cindy Purvis (Harbaugh). He is also survived by 6 Grandchildren 13 Great-Grandchildren.
