He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Lou Griffith; his daughters, Brenda Kay and Sharon Lynn Griffith; and his siblings, Hearld Griffith, Max "Butch" Griffith and Jennie Shaneyfelf.
He is survived by: his children, Mary Givens, Bobbie Jo Thomas (Bruce), Robert Griffith (Penny) and Rodney Griffith (Barb); his sister Kay Hyden; his grandchildren, Amanda, April, Amy, William, Andrew, Robbie, Amber, Matthew, Brandon, Rodney Jr. and Ryan; and his great grandchildren, Keith of Ciera, C. J., Morgan Jo, Hayden, Kamryn, Benjamin, Noah, Lane, Theo, Levi, Jackson and Abel.
