He was predeceased by: his parents, Kirby Houchins and Clara Houchins; his wife Dora Houchins; and his stepson David Shively. He is survived by: his daughters, Pam Selm, Peggy Davis and Lisa Renee Houchins; and his family, Pennie Tackett (Shively) and Jason Shively. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Don Catchen and Son Funeral Homes (3525 Dixie Hwy, Elsmere, KY 41018).
