He is survived by: his wife Lawanda Whitaker; his sons, Jason Whitaker of Lewisport and Micah Whitaker of Church Hill, Tennessee; and his siblings, Henry of Elkton, Oliver Dean Whitaker of Elkton, Naomi Head of Elkton and Mary Alice Carter of Russellville. He is also survived by six grandchildren.
