It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shannon Stokes of Elkton, Kentucky, born in Russellville, Kentucky, who passed away on May 13, 2021, at the age of 49, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her mother Virginia Knight Stokes; and her siblings, Gary Stokes, Peggy Latham, Sharon Stokes and Judy Stokes.
She is survived by: her daughter Brittany Stokes; her siblings, Marty of Elkton, Mark of Elkton, Danny of Elkton, Scott of Elkton, Douglas Stokes of Elkton, Wanda Reynolds of California, Carolyn Smith of Elkton and Teresa Stokes of Elkton; her granddaughter Ashleyanna Stokes; and her close friend Steven Wilder of Elkton.
In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to the Hospice House of Southern Kentucky, 5872 Scottsville Road, Bowling Green, KY 42104.
