With solemn reverence, we commemorate Ruby Colbridge of Elkton, Kentucky, whose life came to an end on January 13, 2025 at the age of 83, leaving behind cherished memories. Though Ruby may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Ruby touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert E. Rager and Annie Lou DuVall Rager; her husband Robert Colbridge; and her siblings, Edwin, Everett Rager and Wanda Ann Rager.
She is survived by: her children, Robert Lee Colbridge, Jr. (Sherri) of Russellville, Kenny Colbridge (Shelly) of Elkton, Jim Colbridge of Columbia, Tennessee and Sharon Baker of Hopkinsville. She is also survived by one grandchild and seven great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Todd County Funeral Home & Cremation Services (720 W Main St, Elkton, KY 42220). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at the New Cedar Grove Church Cemetery (8668 Greenville Rd, Elkton, KY 42220).
