He was predeceased by: his parents, Oda Minton Jr. and Myrtle Gibson; and his sister Shirley Minton. He is survived by: his wife Brenda Minton of Elkton; his children, William "Billy" Minton (Danielle) of Guthrie and Emily Hightower (David) of Elkton; his brothers, William "Von" Minton of McHenry and Michael Minton of Cromwell; and his grandchildren, William "Jess", Bailey and Danny.
