He was predeceased by: his parents, David Spike and Dona Cain Young; his wife Pat Young; and his brothers, Jim Young and Phil Young.
He is survived by: his son Cody Justin Young of Elkton; his stepdaughter Dawn Smoczynski (Mike) of Lacanto, FL; his sister Linda Young of Tallahassee, FL; his stepgrandsons, Brandon and Randal Smoczynski; and his stepgreat-grandchildren, Bjorn and Roman.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be given to Elkton Baptist Church, P.O. Box 547, Elkton, KY 42220.
