She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Curtis Short and Dorothy Jean Wilson Short; and her brother Larry Wayne Short. She is survived by: her husband Freddy Westerman of Elkton; her daughters, Cheryl Renee Fenstermaker of Elkton and Amber Elizabeth Rosser of Elkton; her siblings, Jimmy Short of Logan County, Louise Lyons of Trenton, Marilyn Rogers of Owensboro, Beverly Short of Russellville and Donna Hightower (Billy) of Sharon Grove; her grandchildren, Joshua Wayne, Karli Brook Fenstermaker and Amelia Jo Rosser; and her great grandchildren, Alycia Marie Groves, Sadie Loren Fenstermaker and Issac Lynn Hadden.

Visitation was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, December 7th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Latham Funeral Home (413 E Main St, Elkton, KY 42220). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
