She was predeceased by: her parents, Omer Lawson Laster and Katherine Rager Laster Bivins; her husband Michael Hurtt; her daughter Karen Yvonne Powell; and her sister Aline Renfro.
She is survived by: her son Gregory Hurtt of Sharon Grove, KY; and her sister Mary Wilhite (Tommy) of Sharon Grove, KY. She is also survived by 4 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren and 7 great great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Latham Funeral Home (413 E Main St, Elkton, KY 42220). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
