It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elizabeth Mayes of Elkton, Kentucky, born in Cerulean, Kentucky, who passed away on January 9, 2021, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Daniel Patton and Gertha Stuart Bennett; her husband Charles Mayes; and her sister Alice Powell. She is survived by: her daughters, Diane Bowen of Kirkmansville and Jennifer Logan of Waverly, Tennessee; and her sisters, Mary Hendricks of Illinois and Sue Powell of Kirkmansville. She is also survived by four grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
