She is survived by: her children, Carl Brian Appel of Oregon, Dennis George Appel of Kennebunk, Maine, Catherine Jacques of Carpinteria and Janet Luise Latham of Elkton; and her siblings, Donald Robert Berry of Arizona and Janet Barnes Berry of California. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
