He is survived by: his wife Betsy Wells of Clifty; his children, Rodney Wells of Kirkmansville, Timmy Wells of Clifty and Lawanda Sumner (Anthony) of Lewisburg; and his siblings, Bobby Mayes of Alabama, Helen Jones of Kirkmansville and Bunnie Hightower of Crofton. He is also survived by four grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
