He was predeceased by: his father William Stewart; his wife Mary Lou Anderson Stewart; his son Louie Stewart; and his siblings, Hiram Bob, Charles, Thomas, Ted, Ray, Jay, Sammy Stewart, Sue Justice, Rosie Castle and Nellie Smothers.
He is survived by: his children, Joey Stewart of Elkhorn City, KY and Vonda Gentry of North Carolina; and his sister Janice Clevinger of Belcher, KY.. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
