She was predeceased by: her parents, Sydney Smith and Elizabeth Boyd Smith; and her sisters, Della Mae Baker, Pauline Stump, Anna Marie Chapman, Patricia Rose Wagner, Betty Sue Proiette, Jacqueline Smith and Francis Jean Michaeliszym.
She is survived by: her husband Ed Hawkins of Elkhorn City, KY; her children, Kenneth Roy Hawkins of Lexington, KY, Kathy Slone of Elkhorn City, KY and Mary Elizabeth Hawkins Morton of Ashcamp, KY; her grandchildren, Carrie Ann Adkins, William Travis Slone, Benjamin Lee Slone, Samantha Lee Prater, Faith Elizabeth Fleming, Kenneth Wyatt Hawkins and William Kelly Hawkins; and her siblings, Franklin Smith of Richlands, VA, Johnny Smith of Cynthiana, KY, Billie Jean Hatfield of Phelps, KY. and Audrey June Smith of Phelps, KY.. She is also survived by ten great-grandchildren.
