With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James A. Blackburn of Elkhorn City, Kentucky, born in Toler, Kentucky, who passed away on April 11, 2023 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his father John Blackburn; and his wife Sarah Smith Blackburn. He is survived by: his sons, Jeff Blackburn of Georgetown, KY, Bryan Blackburn of Kodak, TN and Justin Blackburn of Marrowbone, KY. He is also survived by four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
