We are sad to announce that on October 25, 2023, at the age of 77, Gyon Ralph Puckett of Elkhorn City, Kentucky passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Otto Puckett and Rushie Slone Puckett; his siblings, Raymond, Hubert, Clifford, Paul (George Puckett), Vivian Swiney and Geraldine Stover; his grandson Darius Kinniebrew; and his stepson David Varner.

He is survived by: his wife Verna Baker Puckett of Elkhorn City, KY; his son Michael Puckett (Angie) of Jackson, MI; his stepson Gary Varner (Michelle) of Westland, MI; his daughters, Rhoda Kinniebrew (Stephen) of Belleville, MI, Sherri Cook (John) of Huntsville, TX and Melissa Puckett (Rick Dalrymple) of Ypsilanti, MI; his grandchildren, Jacob Kinniebrew, Joshua Kinniebrew, Maara Puckett, Michael Puckett, Heather Wiechman, Justin Puckett, Nicole Davis, Gerald Boone, Cody Boone and Cassandra Cook; and his siblings, Jimmy Puckett of West Liberty, KY and Naomi Rowe of Woodhaven, MI.. He is also survived by sixteen great-grandchildren.
