She was predeceased by: her parents, Dennis Smith and Ida Bartley Ratliff; her husband Joseph Dan Tapscott; her stepfather Bill Ratliff; her sister Linda Ellen Looney; and her stepsister Sherry Ratliff.
She is survived by: her uncles, Bill Bartley and Harold Bartley; and her aunt Mable Morrell. She is also survived by cousins and several nieces and nephews.
