He was predeceased by: his parents, William Bartley and Trilby Gibson Bartley; his spouse Lavaughn Rowe Bartley; and his siblings, Eppie Bartley and Gladys Holland.
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Cole, Nellie Bartley, Marcella Coleman, Giree Coleman, Madge Hamm and Stella Senters; his children, Pamela Smith (Eddie), Debbie Adkins (Roger) and Ben Bartley (April); his brother Clinton Bartley; his grandchildren, Caressa Dawahare, Jeremy Adkins, Jonathan Adkins, B. J. Smith and Rebekah Smith; and his great grandchildren, Tristan, Ashton, Elijah, Emmalie and Jonah.
