It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Agatha McCoy Butler of Elkhorn City, Kentucky, born in Hellier, Kentucky, who passed away on October 4, 2022, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Butler and Ceattia Cook Butler; her children, Clifford Dean and Julie Gail McCoy; and her siblings, Jimmy Butler, Myrna Loy Spears, Rosemary Belcher and Audrey McCoy.
She is survived by: her children, Gary McCoy (Angie) of Richmond, Debbie Sesco (Neil) of Pikeville and Becky Coleman (Kenny) of Pikeville; and her grandchildren, Clifford Dean McCoy, Jr., Jennifer Mae McCoy, Deni Brooke McCoy, Rachel McCoy, Emily McCoy, Shawna Pinson, Cody McCoy Fleming, Ramsey McCoy, Karinda Paige Ishmael, Wesley Neil Sesco, Kevin G. Coleman, Zachary A. Coleman and Madison Kennedy McCoy. She is also survived by 22 great- grandchildren and 1 great great- grandchild.
