He was predeceased by: his parents, Maglene O'Neal Hammonds Elliott (Carlene Fyffe Hammonds) and Wavle Hammonds; his son Jimmy Lee Hammonds; and his brother Dale Hammons. He is survived by: his children, Cassondra Barker (Dean), Celsie Roney (Wes) and Cody Hammonds (Teddie); his grandchildren, Tori Lynn Barker, Cade Lee Hammonds, Corbin Thane Roney, Tillie Mae Hammonds and Cooper Dean Hammonds; and his sisters, Kimberly Sue Brown (Scott) and Barb Williams (Gary).
