She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert "Bob" Stayton and Lear Ruth Christie Stayton; her husband Charles Flinchum, Jr.; her son Lowell Flinchum; her grandson Shawn Flinchum; and her sisters, Freda Stayton, Beatrice Burton and Leora Lavine.
She is survived by: her son Steve; her daughter-in-law Dawn Flinchum of Elk Horn; her brothers, William R. "Buddy" Stayton of Campbellsville, Leadis R. Stayton (Susie) of Johnsport and Lantous R. Stayton of Covington; and her nephew Raymond Lee Stayton. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
