We are sad to announce that on March 5, 2025, at the age of 83, Belva Magdaline Parrish of Elk Horn, Kentucky, born in Cincinnati, Ohio passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Allen Uhrig and Bertha Hayes Uhrig Cottingham (Lawrence Cottingham); her husband William Parrish; her children, Ronnie McCarthy, Keith McCarthy, Belva Smithson, Juanita, Margie and Larry; and also Betty.
She is survived by: her children, Lisa Morgan and Dakota Roberts; her grandchildren, David McCarthy, Ronald McCarthy, Cathy McCarthy, Keith McCarthy, Shelly Smithson, Sean McCarthy, Ricky McCarthy, Amber Eldridge, Kindell Buchanan and Taylor Buchanan; her great grandchildren, Brooklyn Dane, Alexis Dane, Aaden Eldridge, Kynslee Eldridge and Kolten Eldridge; and her siblings, George Shelton of Tennessee and Bea Uhrig.
Visitation was held on Sunday, March 9th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the L. R. Petty Funeral Home and Cremation Service (1765 New Columbia Rd, Campbellsville, KY 42718). A memorial service was held on Sunday, March 9th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
Memorials are suggested to be donations to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and may be made online or at the funeral home.
