It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Willis Darold Frakes of Elizabethtown, Kentucky, who passed away on March 22, 2023, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parent Leslie Frakes; his wife Helen Frakes; his mother Ruby Patterson Frakes (Patterson); and his siblings, Larry Frakes, Lynette Whelan, Clara Mae "Pee Wee" Corbett, Harold Frakes and Elaine Youravich.
He is survived by: his son Darold Frakes, Jr. (Terry Stith) of New Albany, IN; his sister Darlene Bieber of Bowling Green, KY; his siblings-in-law, Evelyn Frakes, Jack Whelan and Mike Youravich; and his pets, Shaggy, Daisy and Baby Girl. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
