He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Napper and Julia Hatfield Napper; his wife Connie Mae Napper; his cousins, Lillian Grimes and Paul Clark; his brother Gilbert; and his son-in-law John Ray.
He is survived by: his children, Angela Ray of Elizabethtown, KY, Wayne Napper Jr. of Cecilia, KY and Monica (Jeremy) Lynch; his grandchildren, Jeff Ray (Ashton), Derek Ray (Megan), Courtney Peters, Cody Napper (Mikaela), Andrew Ray, Ashley Ray (Zach), Kaylee Lynch (Kamden) and Alison Lynch; his great grandchildren, Rylee Jo, Kynzlee, Maelee, Corey Miller, Abby Philpott and Danny Ray; his sister-in-law Lorena Napper; his sister Louise Grimes; and his close friend Jerry Payne.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, January 4th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Manakee Funeral Home - Elizabethtown (2098 Leitchfield Rd, Elizabethtown, KY 42701). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
