She was predeceased by: her mother Jewel Lawton; and her sister Theresa King. She is survived by: her sons, Kwame'Montez Horton and Kuashawn King; her father Marvin E. King, Sr. (Joanne); her siblings, Marvin E. King Jr., Margaret Price, Geraldine King, Natasha King, Regina King and Makeba King; and her close friend Tonya Thompson-Sherman. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Percell & Sons Funeral Home, Inc. (120 Haycraft St, Elizabethtown, KY 42701). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
