He was predeceased by: his parents, Hoyle Garren and Betty McBride Simpson; and his brother Ronald Simpson. He is survived by: his sons, Kyle Simpson and Austin Simpson; and his siblings, Tony Simpson and Tommie Nichol. He is also survived by four grandchildren.
