He was predeceased by: his father Harold Eugene Burton; and his brother Eddie Lee Burton Sr.. He is survived by: his son Scott Christopher Lyons of Elizabethtown; his mother Elizabeth Faye Burton of Elizabethtown; and his siblings, Timothy Burton of Hodgenville, Darren Burton (Betty) of Elizabethtown, Branden Burton of Elizabethtown, James Burton (Toni) of Elizabethtown, Regina Burton of Hodgenville, Selena Peak (Bill) of Elizabethtown, Amanda Burton of Elizabethtown and Tammy Burton of Bardstown. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
