He was predeceased by: his parents, Cleveland Johnson and Carol Carr Johnson. He is survived by: his wife Denise Graham Johnson; his children, Eric Johnson (Natoshia), Heather Harris (Jeff) and Amy Davis (Ross); his grandchildren, Carson Mackey, Brody Johnson (Cynthia), Beau Davis, Chloe McNeill, Annabelle Davis, Jovie Johnson and Richie Johnson; his siblings, Gail Kamer (Pete), Phyllis Daniels (Ken), Cheryl Johnson, Carrla Gracie, Barry Johnson (Pam) and Bruce Johnson (Tracy); his parents-in-law, Lewis Spurrier Graham and Dot Horn Graham; and his brother-in-law Lewis H. Graham (Sheri). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins.
