She was predeceased by: her parents, Elijah Surratt and Irene Surratt; and her sister Carol Surratt. She is survived by: her children, Randall, Steven Shaw and Tasha Shaw; and her siblings, Allen, Clifford, Tommie Lee, Elijah, Linda D. Nixon, Lorene Nixon, Judy Johnson and Denise Taylor. She is also survived by five grandchildren.
